Substance Misuse Recovery Worker at HMP Winchester, a category B male remand prison with a capacity for 650 inmates. This role is a key member of the health and wellbeing team, working to promote recovery from substance misuse.
Responsibilities:
- Join the Recovery Team and empower those who wish to change their behaviour, promoting health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.
- Work within the healthcare team to deliver outstanding care to inmates and support behavioural change.
Qualifications:
- Experience within substance misuse.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Hours: Monday – Friday 0800 – 1600.
Salary: Full time, annual salary up to £33,510 per annum.
