The predicted salary is between 40000 - 49000 £ per year.
Provide outstanding evidence-based care, advanced assessment and treatment of patients who may have complex and/or chronic presentation. You will need to determine clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. Assess and treat a range of conditions including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies and nail surgery. Deliver non‑judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients' care, following our policies and procedures. Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being proactive in the management of foot, ankle and lower extremity conditions and motivate the wider team to identify patients at high risk. You will forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus healthcare team and the wider Health in Justice Service. Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list and be able to work as an autonomous practitioner.
Qualifications
- HCPC registration with proven post-registration experience assessing and treating a range of conditions
- Experience in assessing and treating:
- Diabetic patients
- Wound management
- MSK pathologies
- Nail surgery
- Self‑motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Evidence of CPD and work within MSK speciality
- Non‑judgemental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills in MS Word, Outlook
- Preferred: experience with electronic notes systems
