Experienced Trade Plate Drivers (self-employed) required. HMP are recruiting for experienced Trade Plate Drivers on behalf of our client. We are looking for well-presented, self-sufficient and motivated drivers that can deliver a high level of customer service at all times.

- Location: Roles are available UK wide
As a Trade Plate Driver, you will be provided with vehicle movements for collection and delivery of new and used vehicles from a multitude of locations throughout the country, including dealerships, auction sites, compounds, hire companies, businesses, and private retail customers. You will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle logistics including planning of jobs, in-depth accurate appraisals, prompt collection and delivery to customers, handing over with sign off, and any supporting paperwork where applicable.
Customer service is a key part of this role, so being well-presented, polite, disciplined, organised, motivated, and experienced in delivering high levels of customer service is crucial to the business. Additionally, you will be a calm and patient person, resilient and resourceful as sometimes when the job doesn’t go to plan, your day can be extremely demanding and long. You will also be an early riser as very early start times are necessary with unpredictable finishing times. You will need to have either a driveway or parking space off-road as you will take a vehicle home every evening (carry-over) to deliver to the customer the next day.
