Healthcare Assistant

Position: Healthcare Assistant at HMP Fosse Way, Glen Parva, LE18 4WS (NHS Jobs).

Posting date: 02 June 2026 – Closing date: 12 June 2026.

Summary

We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support the wider healthcare team in our state‑of‑the‑art facility opened in May 2023. The role helps prisoners gain skills and qualifications to secure meaningful employment on release, reducing re‑offending rates.

Remuneration

Salary: £25,557.00 – £29,723.00 per year (varies with experience).

Hours

Full time – 37.5 hours per week, working 3 shifts per week, doubling to 4 shifts on the 8th week. 1 in 3 weekends, 0700-2000, with no routine night shifts but occasional cover may be required.
