The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Work Hours: In terms of possible hours, we are restricted by the prison regime to a certain degree. We would need you to be able to work full morning or afternoon sessions, or full days, albeit not necessarily 5 days a week.
- Mon‑Fri AM – 8:10am start
- Mon‑Fri PM – 4:40pm finish
All lessons are 2 hours 45 minutes.
Job Overview: HMP Fosse Way are currently looking for individuals with one or more of the below skillsets to support their vocational curriculum delivery. Ability to cover more than one of these areas would be beneficial:
- Plastering
- Carpentry
- Bricklaying
- Painting & Decorating
- Warehousing
- Fork lift truck driving
Responsibilities: We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with students, inspire and motivate them. The class consists of up to 16 students, supported by a team of prison mentors and workshop technicians. Deliver vocational training and share industry knowledge to help learners gain the skills needed to enter the building trade.
