Based in the North West, HMO Property Designs offers flexible sourcing and funding options for investors through a fully hands-off strategy, consistently delivering returns of 20%+. With over 15 years’ experience and 200+ completed projects, we have built a strong and proven track record in residential property investment. We are now expanding into commercial property, creating new opportunities for growth, innovation, and long-term value.

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Commercial Manager to help shape this next phase of the business. This role will play a key part in maximising revenue and performance across our growing commercial portfolio. You will use your commercial finance expertise, agency sales background, and ability to interpret and design floorplans to identify opportunities and deliver exceptional ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial strategy across office, retail, and industrial assets
  • Analyse financial data to support investment and development decisions
  • Identify value-add initiatives and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Lead, manage, and develop the commercial team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, agents, and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial finance
  • Proven sales and/or lettings background within a commercial agency
  • Strong commercial awareness with a clear ROI focus
  • Confident team leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify value-add opportunities and new revenue streams
  • Ability to interpret existing floorplans and design new layouts that maximise usable space and enhance commercial potential
