HMH Architects is expanding and looking for anArchitect or Architectural Technologistto join our technical design team in Stockton-on-Tees.
As aRIBA Chartered Practice, we specialise in the technical design and delivery of social and affordable housing, as well as the refurbishment and conversion of existing buildings. We also undertake the roles of Building Regulations Principal Designer and CDM 2015 Principal Designer across our projects.
As our workload and client base continue to grow, we are seeking technically capable and motivated professionals who are looking to develop their careers within a supportive and established practice.
Salary
Architectural Technologist: £31,000 to £39,000
Architect: £36,000 to £46,000
Salary dependent on qualifications, experience and technical capability.

The Role
You will join a collaborative technical design team working on a range of residential and refurbishment projects across the North East and beyond.
The role will involve the technical development and delivery of projects, producing coordinated design information, navigating Building Regulations requirements, and working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Technical design and project delivery
- Production and coordination of drawing packages
- Revit modelling and documentation
- Building Regulations compliance
- Client and consultant liaison
- Site visits and contract administration support
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality residential and refurbishment schemes
About You
Must be ARB / CIAT registered. Ideally, you will have at least three years' relevant experience, although we are open to considering candidates with less experience who can demonstrate strong technical ability.

- Strong Revit skills
- Sound knowledge of Building Regulations
- Excellent technical detailing abilities
- A proactive and collaborative attitude
- Good communication and organisational skills
