We are looking to appoint an experienced Theatre Manager to oversee the technical and operational aspects of our Co-curricular Drama programme and production schedule. Drama is a key part of life at Hurst, both in the curriculum and beyond. Pupils are actively involved in all areas of performance, from acting and directing to technical support, and regularly attend a wide range of productions throughout the year.

Teaching and rehearsals take place in purpose-built spaces, including a fully equipped Black Box Studio and the New Bury Theatre, a 350-seat, professional-standard venue with flexible staging, full lighting and sound systems, and an orchestral pit.

Each year, we deliver a diverse programme of productions, including large-scale musicals, Shakespeare plays, and smaller performances. Students also have the chance to direct their own work and prepare for professional training through LAMDA and leading drama schools.
