We are currently seeking to fill the position of Security Patrol Officer.

A rare and exciting opportunity has now arisen to join our In-House Security Team at Stowe, as a Part-Time Security Patrol Officer.

Working on a fixed two-week rota system alongside another colleague, you will work every other Thursday and Friday morning from 6am to 2pm, and every other Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 10pm.

Your role will be to provide a high level of security to ensure the protection of staff, pupils, parents, visitors, and the buildings. This role also includes monitoring the School\’s Fire Alarm systems and responding to Fire Alarm Activations, while maintaining standards under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

An SIA Qualification in Door Supervision and/or CCTV Public Space Surveillance would be advantageous, but SIA training will be provided after an initial probation period for successful applicants with relevant experience. A departmental training and induction program will also be provided.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate, located in the world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. It is an independent co-educational boarding school with around 900 pupils and approximately 500 full and part-time staff, including 60 staff and their families living on-site. The Stowe Group includes Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House, and Winchester House, situated across four sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, educating children aged 3-18.
