Bradford Grammar Junior School is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher and EYFS Lead to start September 2026. The post will suit a teacher with a minimum of two years’ experience who can inspire and motivate boys and girls within our happy and vibrant school. As a committed and inspiring class teacher, you will be joining a school which offers a lively, challenging and broad-based curriculum.

Candidates should be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school and should have excellent pastoral skills.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have relevant classroom teaching experience in Reception (EYFS)
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and continuous provision to meet the needs of every child.
  • Build warm, supportive relationships with children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a collegial Junior School team.

As EYFS Lead, you will provide professional guidance, contribute to whole-school strategy, and ensure high standards of practice across the EYFS.
