Withington Girls’ School, The Sunday Times’ North-West Independent School of the Decade 2021, would like to invite applications for the role of Site Services Assistant. The Site Services team plays an integral role in the operation of Withington Girls’ School, being responsible for the ongoing maintenance and security of the school building and our grounds. Members of the team work closely with staff, pupils and external contractors.

The Site Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the site under the direction of the Site Manager; this will include participating in work schedules to enable the site cover to be 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year. The role of Site Services Assistant is 30 hours per week, 1pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday, all year round. The post holder will need to be flexible and have the ability to work extra hours at short notice to cover staff absence or school events.

Salary: The salary for this role will be paid at point 11 on the Support Staff Pay Scale, this equates to a full-time equivalent salary of ÂŁ26,317 per annum. The actual salary for this role is ÂŁ21,054 per annum.

The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
