This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Physics Department to add to the strengths of the science education already provided. The successful candidate will form part of a Science Department of highly motivated, experienced and specialists teaching all the science disciplines.
The vision of the Science Department at St Columba’s College is to develop our students’ understanding and love of science. We strive to help our young people to achieve their very best through dynamic teaching and a positive learning environment.
We seek to appoint a person of enthusiasm, with experience in the role or someone seeking promotion to take on a new responsibility. The candidate must be engaging and dynamic, well-qualified with a Physics degree as a minimum, as well as being a teacher whose talents will build on the strengths of the current provision across all age groups including GCSE and A-Level.
Candidates must have a willingness to play a full part in the extra-curricular life of the College and be in sympathy with its Catholic ethos. In return we offer an attractive salary and benefits package including:
