Overview
The Perse Pelican School has two vacancies to start January 2026, for a permanent Class Teacher and a maternity cover Class Teacher (fixed for 1 year). The successful candidate will have a motivation to work with children and the capacity to inspire pupils of all abilities, enhancing pupil learning. They will have an empathy for pupils, parents, staff and the community.
The Perse School Cambridge is one of the country’s leading independent co-educational day schools for children aged 3-18, who attend our Pelican, Prep or Upper. Our aim is to be a leading employer of choice, with a school where staff feel valued, respected and motivated.
Responsibilities
- Teach a class of children in any year group throughout The Perse Pelican, ensuring the children develop academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.
- Plan and prepare the curriculum to engage and inspire the children, actively involving them in their learning.
