About the Team
The Energy, Net Zero, Business and Foreign Affairs team is a small team of around six people who advise on the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) projects in DESNZ and DBT working closely with NISTA’s energy policy team and subject matter experts to support the Government mission to make Britain a clean energy superpower. We also advise on GMPP projects in FCDO to support the Government’s growth mission.
About the Job
As a Project Delivery Adviser you will:
- Provide expert project delivery advice to major projects sponsored by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), the Department of Business and Trade (DBT) and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
- Identify and unblock barriers to advancing those projects, assist in streamlining progress without compromising achieving project scope and benefits to time and cost commitments.
- Provide briefings and advice for senior leaders and input to briefings for ministers.
- Provide clear evidence-based recommendations to senior officials at major project investment decision points, e.g. Treasury Approval Points (TAPs), Major Project Review Group (MPRG) and Mega Project Delivery Panel (MPDP) meetings.
