This is an outstanding opportunity to join CDIO as an IT Delivery Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of highly technical and complex outcomes. Your work will be crucial in ensuring we meet our ambitious goals and continue to provide world-class services.

Person specification

  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of medium to large scale IT Projects.
  • Manage planning activity and work with the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Monitor and analyse information, reporting progress, slippage and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints.
  • Support effective commercial, financial and supplier management associated with projects and/or change requests.
  • Building and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships to achieve successful outcomes for the business.
  • Working closely with Product Managers and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of the products.
  • Applying your experience / understanding of both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies in a Delivery Management setting.
  • Support effective governance and decision making.
  • Provide support, guidance and coaching for the project team.
  • Show commitment to personal development.
  • Promote effective individual and team performance.
  • Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team.
  • Delivering medium to large scale technical or IT enabled business change projects against a backdrop of large-scale organisational change.
  • Working knowledge of Clarity.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading IT infrastructure change projects.
  • Experience of working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across other government departments, directorate/business group lines.
  • Experience of leading delivery in Agile and Hybrid (Agile & Waterfall) projects and programmes.
  • Experience of overseeing risk and issue management.
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and management controls.
