As an Agile Delivery Manager within CDIO Borders & Trade, you will lead and motivate teams with a strong work ethic, delivering outstanding value. As a Delivery Manager you will require knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies, however, knowledge and experience of other methodologies, in addition to Agile, are welcome. The complexity or breadth of products or teams will vary in this role, depending on the context of the work assigned. Key responsibilities:
  • You will work either within a delivery team or will be supporting a group of delivery teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, to deliver value and change, usually within the context of wider projects and programmes.
  • You will use your knowledge and experience of Delivery Management or Agile to coach and mentor teams and colleagues.
  • You will encourage and facilitate continuous improvement and identify and remove blockers to delivery.
  • You will understand and be able to interpret the needs of business and technical stakeholders and manage expectations successfully.
  • Understand when and how to employ Agile and Delivery Management techniques to get the best result.
  • Monitor and facilitate effective delivery progress, identifying and removing blockers to successful delivery.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate practical knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Proven experience of delivering medium to large scale quality digital products.
  • Expertise in Delivery Management, utilising Agile techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities on large scale and high visibility projects.
  • Experience in challenging and removing barriers to effective delivery.
  • Proven experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence external partners, stakeholders and customers.
