We are seeking experienced Data & AI Governance Managers to help our clients build and operationalise frameworks that underpin sound decision‑making, and deliver large, complex initiatives across multiple functional groups.
Your role:
- Possess a clear understanding of key Data Governance principles and their practical application in areas such as data stewardship, metadata management, and data quality.
- Lead requirements gathering, client interviewing, and current state analysis to inform Data Governance solutions.
- Lead workshops and trainings to explain and promote Data Governance concepts and their importance.
- Flexibly work with our clients across both advisory and delivery in the data space, enabling them to leverage trusted, high‑quality data for strategic decision‑making and operational excellence.
- Advise clients on the strategic "why", "what", and "how" of establishing robust Data Governance to ensure data quality, compliance, and trustworthiness for business objectives.
- Define and execute data initiatives to enhance and promote solid Data Governance foundations across our clients' businesses.
- Present and communicate to people unfamiliar with the use of data in decision‑making about the advantages and caveats of proposals and solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of organisational structures and operating models that embed Data Governance best practices.
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams to shape, define, and deliver Data & AI Governance strategies aligned with business goals.
- Stay at the forefront of Data & AI Governance industry trends, actively maintaining an awareness of the latest Data Governance tooling solutions and trade association certifications.
Required skills and professional experience:
- An analytical and logical perspective, with the ability to view a problem from different angles.
- Strong awareness of audience knowledge, and the ability to adjust language accordingly.
- Knowledge of process mapping, design, and improvement.
- Experience designing operational models and organisational models.
Additionally, you may have:
- An understanding of Data Governance principles and familiarity with its processes, policies, and key vendor platforms.
- An understanding and interest in Trustworthy AI and AI Governance.
- Experience with, or formal certifications from, leading Data Governance tooling platforms such as Collibra or Informatica.
- Experience in the design or delivery of Data Products and Data Marketplaces.
- Experience in Metadata Management / Master Data Management, including Data Quality.
