As an Associate Director within our AI & Data practice, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients unlock significant revenue growth through advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will specialise in Revenue Growth Management (RGM).
You will lead client engagements, design and implement cutting-edge solutions, and advise senior stakeholders on leveraging AI and data to enhance commercial strategies, improve promotional effectiveness, and drive profitable growth. This is a leadership position that demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, client relationship management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Engagement & Business Development: Lead the identification of client needs related to RGM, TPO, and TPM, developing compelling proposals and solutions. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor. Contribute to business development activities, including market analysis, thought leadership, and proposal writing.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of TPO/TPM solutions, with a primary focus on Visualfabriq. Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures. Oversee data integration, model development, and system configuration to ensure optimal performance and client value.
- AI & Data Strategy: Advise clients on leveraging AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to enhance RGM capabilities, including predictive analytics for promotional effectiveness, pricing optimisation, and assortment management. Lead the development of data-driven insights to inform strategic commercial decisions and identify new growth opportunities.
- Project Management & Delivery: Lead complex RGM and TPO/TPM projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes. Lead project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance. Mitigate risks and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation: Contribute to the development of Deloitte's RGM, AI & Data, and TPO/TPM methodologies, assets, and offerings. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in RGM, AI, and commercial strategy. Represent Deloitte at industry events and conferences.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Conduct performance reviews and support career development for team members.
Experience in consulting or industry roles with accountability for strategic direction and outcomes with a focus on Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Strategy, Trade Marketing, or Sales Operations. Proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimising Trade Promotion Optimisation (TPO) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions beneficial. Hands-on expertise and significant experience with Visualfabriq are beneficial. Experience with one leading TPO/TPM platform is paramount. Experience in designing/leveraging AI/Machine Learning and advanced analytics for commercial decision-making preferred. Strong understanding of one of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Consumer Healthcare and/or Retail industry dynamics, including trade spend mechanics, promotional strategies, and customer profitability. Experience leading matrix project teams, including offshore and nearshore, managing client relationships, and delivering complex engagements. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels. Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring capabilities. Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset, capable of identifying and capitalising on business opportunities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. High degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for innovation in AI and data.
