Overview
We are seeking early‑career consultants to join our Strategy, Governance and Architecture team within the Artificial Intelligence & Data offering. The role involves designing end‑to‑end data solution architectures and collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior architects to define and design end‑to‑end AI & data solution architectures.
- Develop proof‑of‑concept solutions to demonstrate business value of proposed AI and data solutions.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to create a common data language for consistent data interpretation and usage.
- Assess existing solutions and recommend target architectures, leveraging expertise in Data & AI/Analytics tools and cloud technologies.
- Support the creation of strategic roadmaps for Data & AI capabilities that align with client ambition.
- Own one or more deliverables and ensure commercially successful completion of client engagements.
- Coordinate on‑shore and off‑shore development teams, manage workloads and maintain alignment to meet project deadlines in an Agile environment.
- Continuously develop architecture skills through on‑the‑job training and formal development programmes.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience analysing requirements for data solution design and data modelling from conceptual to physical.
- Experience manipulating, analysing, and reporting insights from large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python or R.
- Good understanding of key components of end‑to‑end data solutions, including data quality, master data management, reference data, reporting and visualisation, AI, analytics, and self‑service BI.
- Ability to work independently, think strategically, solve problems, identify opportunities for innovation and growth while delivering high‑quality solutions.
- Exceptional time‑management skills to manage competing priorities across client service, practice development, and business development.
- Business analysis skills such as requirements definition, information gathering, discovery, and specification development.
- Effective stakeholder management and ability to form strong client relationships.
- Experience collaborating with and potentially managing workloads of on‑shore and off‑shore development teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of high‑quality AI and data solutions.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with data solution architecture and data management frameworks, including design principles and solution patterns with architecture methodologies.
- Experience or certifications in cloud data platform solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) to design and deliver enterprise data solutions, including toolset selection, effort, and cost estimation.
- Broad knowledge across cloud architecture, DevOps, networking, machine learning, and security.
- Experience delivering innovative enterprise data management frameworks such as Data Mesh or Data Vault.
- Understanding of data/information governance principles and familiarity with vendor platforms such as Collibra and Informatica.
- Experience with management information/BI reporting delivery processes.
