Job description

We are seeking an experienced lawyer with 6+ years PQE to join our growing team at the intersection of law, regulation, technology and business transformation.

The work involves close collaboration with colleagues across legal, tax and broader advisory teams. Role Focus

You will advise senior stakeholders on complex, cross‑border legal and regulatory issues in one or both of the following areas:

  • AI Governance, Digital Regulation & Data Privacy
    • AI governance
    • Digital regulation
    • Privacy and GDPR
    • Governance frameworks across legal and business functions
    • Regulatory horizon scanning
    • Enterprise‑wide approaches to legal and regulatory risk
  • Intangible Assets, IP & Tax‑Linked Advisory
    • Intangible assets
    • IP ownership and licensing
    • Patent box
    • R&D credits
    • Transfer pricing support
    • Cross‑border structuring issues involving IP and related assets

Stakeholders

  • Chief Legal Officers
  • AI leaders
  • Data and risk leaders
  • Compliance leaders

Key Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years post‑qualification experience.
  • Experience in Data, Privacy, AI Governance and Intellectual Property.
  • Backgrounds from Big Four, in‑house legal or regulatory teams, consulting environments, or law firms with strong international and commercial exposure are welcomed.
  • Relevant technical credibility and international experience, particularly across Europe.
  • Commercial judgment and a collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset.
  • Confidence to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.

Location and Working Arrangements

Based in London, Reading or Manchester, in a hybrid working model that includes office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites and remote work. Specific requirements will be discussed with the recruiter.
