The Client Due Diligence (CDD) Team is responsible for conducting extensive background checks on the firm's new and existing clients to identify and mitigate potential risks and ensure our colleagues within the business can confidently deliver services to their clients.

As a Senior Analyst within CDD, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality work to the business, supporting your colleagues and your Assistant Manager to ensure we meet business expectations and regulatory requirements. Our team members come from a wide range of backgrounds, sometimes with little or no prior experience of financial services. • Excellent research and analysis skills combined with good judgement and effective decision-making capability
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain requirements to our internal customers
• Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across varied locations
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage your own workload and deliver services to tight deadlines whilst managing customer expectations
• Confidence with Microsoft products and general application usage, including using AI tools where appropriate
• Experience within a professional/financial services/regulatory environment is preferred

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
