As an Associate Director, you will manage client engagements day‑to‑day, leading end‑to‑end engagements as a trusted advisor. You will be responsible for reviewing all deliverables, setting approach direction, driving projects forward, and fostering client trust. In addition, you will drive business development initiatives, support the broader insurance AI & Data practice, coach junior staff, and champion diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engagements end‑to‑end, acting as the key point of review on all deliverables.
  • Set approach direction and drive projects forward.
  • Build trust and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive business development and support broader practice capabilities.
  • Act as a leader within the insurance AI and Data team, developing capability and culture.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their wellbeing.
  • Develop and deliver transformative programmes such as underwriting transformation, central data office set‑ups, AI/data capability deployment, executive management information suite redesign, and claims experience transformation.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in front‑line or strategic transformation roles within the Commercial & Specialty Insurance industry or consulting.
  • Expert understanding of the sector’s value chain and operational dynamics.
  • Track record of delivering transformative change for brokers or carriers.
  • Ability to identify and articulate AI and data opportunities that deliver business outcomes.
  • Experience building senior stakeholder relationships and driving change.
  • Proven ability to lead teams on complex projects and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and strategic argumentation skills with creativity and evidence sourcing.
  • Self‑starter with excellent communication, time‑management, and problem‑diagnosis skills.
  • Ability to scope, design, and deliver full‑cycle project management accountabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong academic record.
