This role is a Community Payback Supervisor, responsible for supervising and motivating small teams of offenders to complete unpaid work tasks for community payback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise work groups of offenders, ensuring tasks are completed effectively
  • Drive service vehicles as necessary to transport offenders and equipment
  • Plan and schedule work hours, including frequent weekend and occasional evening work
  • Maintain health and safety standards and support well-being of staff and offenders
  • Record progress and report on outcomes to line management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (automatic licence not accepted)
  • Right to work in the UK and for the Civil Service
  • Experience in supervising or leading teams in a community or public setting preferred

Salary & Working Pattern

  • Starting salary of £28,064 (pro-rata). Paid 50% higher rate for weekend work.
