The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Due to the security status of this prison, a Counter-Terrorism Check (CTC vetting) will need to be undertaken. Proof of UK residency for the last 3 years is required to complete the CTC process. Applicants not meeting this residency requirement will not be able to take up the post.

This role is not eligible for new Skilled Worker visas following the immigration rules introduced on 22 July 2025. Only those who held a Skilled Worker visa prior to this date may be considered. Please assess your visa status accordingly.

  2. Successful candidates will be invited to an online assessment center to assess suitability.
  3. Pre-employment checks, including security vetting and medical assessments, are required.

Security and Residency Requirements

Applicants must provide proof of UK residency for the last 3 years. Exceptions may apply if you have maintained UK residency during extended periods abroad.

Merit Vacancy and Opportunities

This is a merit-based vacancy. Successful candidates will be placed on a merit list for 12 months, with opportunities to be offered positions as they become available. If unsuccessful, a six-month waiting period applies before reapplication.

Additional Information

Other requirements include minimum age of 18, passing medical and fitness tests, eyesight and hearing standards, and compliance with security vetting procedures.
