Role Overview
Salary: £33,746 – £38,003. You will work various shifts and weekends, sometimes acting as peacekeeper, counsellor or teacher, working directly with prisoners in a unique environment. Teamwork is vital.
Responsibilities
- Protect the public and support the safety of the prison and offenders.
- Build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders at the lowest point in their lives.
- Act as a team member to keep the environment safe.
- Adapt to varying roles in a single day – peacekeeper, counsellor, teacher, etc.
- Work various shifts and weekends.
