This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key part in managing and developing HM Land Registry’s technology supplier relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of vital services that support our organisational goals. As a Supplier and Contract Manager, you will help drive commercial value, strengthen strategic partnerships, and contribute to both day‑to‑day operations and our wider transformation agenda.

You’ll be part of the T&T Directorate’s Supplier and Contract Management function—a collaborative, experienced team responsible for managing a broad portfolio of ICT suppliers and contracts. The team works closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement, Technology, Project Delivery and Other Government Departments (OGDs) to ensure our suppliers deliver high‑quality, efficient and compliant services. The culture is supportive, improvement‑focused and driven by strong professional relationships—both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a group of suppliers and contracts within the T&T ICT portfolio, monitoring performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships throughout the full lifecycle—from onboarding through to exit.
  • Ensure HMLR meets its contractual obligations and receives value for money through regular performance reviews.
  • Act as an escalation point for supplier and service issues, resolving disputes, processing change requests and ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit and policy requirements.
  • Implement best‑practice risk management and mitigation across the contract lifecycle.

  • Review the market to identify alternative products and suppliers using compliant government routes.
