Reporting to the Head of Corporate Systems Service (CSS) within the wider Finance and Business Services (FaBS) directorate, this role supports the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Senior Leadership Team. Its core purpose is to maintain a robust payroll system that accurately processes and accounts for HMLR compensation. You will provide specialist expertise to system users, identify opportunities to enhance system performance and maintain and support CSS, HR, Finance and third‐party systems to ensure payroll is delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the payroll system, ensuring accurate processing and accounting of HMLR compensation.
- Provide specialist advice to system users and support the integration of payroll with CSS, HR, Finance and external partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and optimise functionality.
- Support implementation, UAT and regression testing of Oracle Payroll Systems and related HR components.
Person Specification
- In‐depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payroll Module and Oracle Fusion HCM or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of end‐to‐end HR processes, including Recruit to Retire and associated payment events.
- Experience supporting Oracle Payroll Systems – implementation, UAT, regression testing.
- Broad knowledge of Oracle Fusion HR Systems.
- Strong skills in designing, maintaining and amending business processes and control systems.
- Track record in scoping, planning and project‐managing system enhancements.
- Knowledge of core financial accounting or HR management (highly desirable).
