Deputy Head of Knowledge and Information Management (KIM)
Lead the development and maintenance of HMLR’s data and information management priorities, ensuring compliance with the records management code of practice and supporting an improved corporate information governance culture.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain visibility of HMLR data and information management priorities.
- Monitor and report on compliance with the code of practice on records management under Section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act.
- Develop strong internal stakeholder relationships across HMLR and operate across organisational boundaries.
- Champion a stronger culture of compliance with policy in relation to information asset management across the organisation.
- Lead the development and implementation of a stakeholder engagement strategy, including guidance, training and awareness activities.
- Oversee the development and delivery of automated data loss prevention solutions, automated records retention in SharePoint, SharePoint compliance programmes and controls for the growth of SharePoint and MS Teams sites.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in records and information management.
- Thorough understanding of information management legislation, emerging standards and best practice.
- Experience of designing and maintaining records management policies and procedures.
- Experience of information assets and developing effective information asset policies and procedures.
