Heacham Manor Hotel is a beautifully restored, Grade II‑listed country house hotel located on the stunning North West Norfolk coast. Originally built in 1582, the hotel blends rich history with modern comfort, offering guests a relaxing and memorable retreat. With 52 bedrooms ranging from cosy cottage rooms to luxurious suites, Heacham Manor provides something for every type of visitor.
Reporting to: Head of Housekeeping
Job Purpose: The postholder will be part of the Housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper, you are an essential part of our team, and you will be responsible for consistently maintaining the cleanliness of all guest rooms, family suites and public areas to the excellent company standards. The key focus being maintaining excellent customer service and care whilst managing health and safety within the workplace. You will support the Company’s mission and objectives through compliance to Policies and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Hotel Rooms and Cottages (dusting, vacuuming, polishing etc).
- Cleaning Bathrooms which include showers, baths, wash basins, tiles, and toilets.
- Cleaning Kitchens which include worktops, basin, and other kitchen equipment.
- Sweeping public and outside areas such as hallways, patios etc.
- Assisting in maintaining a cleaning inventory.
- Reporting all technical and quality faults to Supervisors/Management.
- Assist with Customer queries, liaise with Reception.
- Keen eye for detail to complete tasks, and the ability to meet the Hotel standards for quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
- Maintaining the public areas with cleaning duties including:
- Mopping and vacuuming of floors
- Dusting
- General cleaning of facilities including Toilets and Changing rooms
- Other cleaning & Housekeeping duties as required by manager.

Education, Training & Experience:
- Previous professional cleaning experience (Desirable)
- COSHH Awareness (training will be given)
- Teamwork skills and the ability to act as the public face of the business
Disposition & requirements:
- Full valid Driving Licence for UK (Desirable)
- Flexible Schedule, for Working hours
- Maintain a professional standard of work attire
- Polite and well-mannered with good communication skills
- Ability to meet outlined expectations and standards within their role
