Our Team Leaders play a critical role in helping deliver justice. This role will enable you to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills. You are responsible for ensuring your team delivers excellent administrative support and customer service to service users, judiciary, and management.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil, and family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. We support our service users and colleagues within HMCTS, helping people and businesses access justice. Your role
Leading your team, you\’ll focus on the team\’s area of work, prioritising and organising work, and ensuring your team is fully skilled to meet objectives. As an effective Team Leader, you will recognise the importance of the team\’s wellbeing and motivate your team to succeed.
You will contribute to the delivery of operational, performance, and service standards targets, and provide statistical data for management and judiciary. Your attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement are key. Monitoring and analysing performance, conducting reviews, and recommending improvements are essential, as is managing change and implementing new initiatives and legislation.
This is a challenging and rewarding role, vital to the smooth running of operations throughout HMCTS. We are committed to developing your leadership skills through our HMCTS leadership programmes and resources.
