Job Purpose
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Mulberry Restaurant, Bar and Pavilion, operating breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner shifts efficiently and profitably while maintaining excellent food service standards. Manage the workflow of the F&B team, assign tasks, support staff, monitor results, and report to department managers. Improve processes and maintain high customer service and safety standards, supporting the company’s mission through compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Mulberry Restaurant & Bar and Pavilion F&B areas are prepared, clean and fully set for service.
- Support F&B team members by clearing tables as necessary.
- Assist with the set‑up of function rooms, bar and restaurant for events.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menus and special events.
- Liaise with the Front of House Manager to plan workloads and allocate tasks.
- Monitor employees to ensure punctuality and adherence to uniform standards.
- Coordinate F&B team and operation during scheduled shifts.
- Report any maintenance issues and equipment requirements to Manager.
- Train and motivate staff against department procedures.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Assist Front of House Manager in other areas of the business if required.
- Monitor and manage bar stock to meet business requirements.
- Ensure start and end of shift procedures, including cleaning, are followed.
- Handle cash procedures at all times, ensuring records are accurate and secure.
- Comply with Data Protection Act, Health & Safety and Safeguarding regulations.
- Complete in‑house training and participate in team meetings.
- Act as an ambassador for the business and promote the company externally.
- Perform any other duties as required.
