Tutor - Maths English and Science

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GCSE MAths, English and Science Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities. This role involves providing tailored support to enhance students’ understanding of subjects, particularly for those requiring special education assistance., * Develop and implement individualised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning needs of each student.

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in various subjects, ensuring that educational goals are met.

• Communicate regularly with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.

• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.

• Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure comprehension.

• Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support students with special educational needs.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.

• Strong understanding of educational principles and practices, including special education strategies.

• Be able to teach GCSE Maths, English and Science

• Be available to work Friday evening and Saturday.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• A relevant qualification in education or a related field is essential., * Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.

• Background knowledge or experience in special education is advantageous.

• A genuine passion for educating children and helping them achieve their academic goals.

• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field would be beneficial but are not essential., * A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.50-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
