- You will work on systems that support large-scale biological datasets, experiment and model lineage tracking, and reproducible research workflows, while ensuring strong performance, reliability, and observability in production.
- Designing and building APIs for datasets, experiments, and workflows
- Owning data models, schemas, and system boundaries
- Building tenant-aware access control and permissions
- Optimising performance and data integrity in PostgreSQL systems
- Deploying and operating services in AWS or GCP
- Building monitoring, logging, and debugging infrastructure
- Occasionally contributing to React or Next.js frontends
This is a role for engineers who enjoy working across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and real product surfaces, especially in complex, data-heavy environments.
