This role sits within a growing technical function responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity between customer environments and the organisation’s cloud-based diagnostic platform.
The Role
As a Service Integrations Specialist, you will oversee end-to-end delivery of technical integrations, including configuration, connectivity validation, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with internal teams and external clinical IT stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable integrations that support customer onboarding and long-term system reliability. You will have the autonomy to apply systems analysis techniques, diagnose integration issues, and continuously optimise workflows in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain integrations using DICOM, HL7, custom APIs, and related technologies.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and validation of service integrations.
- Consult with customers and internal teams to translate clinical workflows into technical requirements.
- Configure and support secure connectivity solutions, including VPNs and firewall rules.
- Manage HL7 integrations, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Maintain integration documentation, including data flow diagrams and IT architecture overviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and data transport issues.
- Contribute to training and onboarding for internal stakeholders.
- Support compliance, information governance, and cybersecurity best practice.
- Stay current with integration technologies, networking protocols, and cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid professional experience in healthcare IT, systems integration, or technical implementation roles.
- Strong hands-on capability in networking, VPN configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with HL7, DICOM, and PACS integrations, including modifying and testing interfaces.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and security standards, especially in regulated environments.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload, and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating applications into cloud infrastructure.

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience within a VC-backed start-up or scale-up.
