Hlx Life Sciences is a global life sciences recruitment company, founded over two years ago with a mission to address the global shortage of skilled talent in the sector. With over 100 years of combined life science recruitment experience and an advisory board of scientific industry experts, we partner with clients across Pharma, CROs, TechBio, and CDMOs, among others.
Since our launch in January 2024, we've grown to a team of 40 globally, with offices across London, Basel and Boston. We've just come off the back of our strongest quarter to date, generating £4M+ in Q2 alone. We're also hiring 20+ more people this year, and we're looking for an experienced recruiter to join our London team as a Scale Delivery Consultant.
You will be working on permanent hires through our Scale model, partnering with some of the most exciting, high-growth biotech and healthtech companies to deliver multi-hire projects and build teams from the ground up. This isn't your typical 360 recruitment role. It's an opportunity for a successful 360 biller who's ready to transition into a more 180-focused, delivery-led position - where the emphasis is on building deep client relationships, managing strategic hiring projects, and delivering exceptional talent rather than generating new business.
The role:
- Own 180 recruitment delivery across permanent placements within the life sciences market
- Partner with founders and hiring managers as their dedicated point of contact to help grow their teams
- Source and assess candidates, managing the full delivery process from search through to placement
- Hold regular catch-ups with hiring managers to align on priorities, pipeline progress, and feedback
- Embed within client companies, scaling hiring across departments as a trusted extension of their team
- Work directly within clients' internal ATS platforms to manage pipelines and reporting seamlessly
- Work closely with our operations team, who support your speed of resourcing, account management, and delivery
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a recruitment consultant with a strong account management focus, ideally within life sciences
- Confident sourcing and assessing candidates, with the resourcing skills to move quickly
- Comfortable working within client systems (ATS platforms), adapting to different tools and processes
- A consistent track record of billing and hitting delivery targets
- Experience managing accounts and projects end-to-end
- Self-motivated, with the drive to take full ownership of account relationships, sourcing, and team builds
What's on offer:
- Based full-time in our Central London office
- Unlimited holiday
- Competitive salary + uncapped commission structure
- Direct exposure to C-suite, working closely with senior leadership
- Quarterly Performance-Based Lunch Clubs & Yearly Incentive Trips
