Hlx Life Sciences is hiring. Following rapid global growth, we’re expanding our US Life Sciences division and are looking for ambitious Recruitment Consultants and Senior Recruitment Consultants to join the business in London.
We partner with some of the most innovative biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies globally through retained search, contingent recruitment, and scalable delivery solutions. This role offers the opportunity to build a long-term career specialising in the US life sciences market, one of the fastest-growing and highest-performing recruitment markets globally.
As part of our US division, you’ll operate in a full 360 recruitment role focused on building and growing relationships across North America:
- Managing and expanding existing accounts
- Building long-term candidate networks across specialist verticals
- Managing full recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer management and close
The people leading the business are still actively billing, building accounts, winning clients, and working directly alongside the team every day. Access to established global relationships and accounts.
The US life sciences market offers significantly larger opportunities than traditional UK markets:
- Faster-growing biotech ecosystem

At Hlx, we’ve spent years building relationships with high-growth biotech and pharmaceutical organisations across North America, meaning consultants gain direct access to active clients and warm accounts from day one.
Alongside this there will also be opportunities to travel to the US for relationship-building across key biotech hubs. Motivated by high performance and progression. Interested in building a long-term career within a high-growth business.
Previous recruitment experience is preferred, particularly within life sciences, healthcare, technology, or other specialist markets, although high-performing recruiters from other sectors will also be considered.
