The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated MSc graduate to join our team as a RA on a 3-month contract. You will support experimental research activities within our Functional Genomics team, assisting in the development of high-throughput screening assays and validating machine learning–derived biological hypotheses. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an innovative biotech setting, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to cutting-edge translational science.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and execution of cell-based assays for target validation.
  • Assist in CRISPR-based gene perturbation experiments (training provided).
  • Work with automation tools and liquid handling systems to generate high-quality screening data.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, and support lab operations.
  • Collaborate closely with scientists from both experimental and computational backgrounds.

What We’re Looking For

  • MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated lab experience during your degree (e.g., dissertation project or internship).
  • A basic understanding of gene editing (e.g., CRISPR), cell culture, and/or functional assays.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
