We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) experience to join a major healthcare project in Bedfordshire. Two-stage tender experience is essential. You’ll need to talk through a project you worked on, the MEP packages involved and what you personally delivered during each stage.
The role:
- Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from tender through to delivery.
- Lead subcontract enquiries, tender reviews, procurement and negotiations.
- Produce cost reports, forecasts and commercial plans.
- Manage variations, payments, subcontract accounts and commercial risk.
- Work closely with design, estimating and operational teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Senior Quantity Surveying experience with a strong MEP focus.
- Proven involvement in a two-stage tender.
- Good knowledge of MEP systems, procurement and subcontract administration.
- Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts.
- A Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
