What exactly do trade mark attorneys do?
A trade mark attorney provides expert guidance to clients on all aspects of trade mark use, protection, and enforcement. A key part of the role involves conducting clearance searches to determine whether trade marks are available for use, and preparing and managing trade mark applications that align with the client’s commercial objectives. The role also includes overseeing international portfolio management and advising on a broad range of contentious matters, such as oppositions, revocations, invalidity actions, and infringement disputes.
