We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Administrator with outstanding administration skills and some knowledge and experience of health and safety in a corporate office environment to join a leading professional services business. The main purpose of the role will be responsibility for the effective and efficient administration of the department dealing with the compliance of the firm maintaining a safe working environment for its state of the art brand new corporate head office.
General responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and refine documents, reports and presentations for meetings and events supporting both the H&S Manager and the Environmental & Sustainability Manager
- Liase with stakeholders on a day to day basis using own initiative, prioritising tasks where necessary
- Update and revise aspects of company policies, procedures and legal obligations, coordinating H&S issues
- Assist Risk Assessments: Identify potential workplace hazards and develop strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety procedures are being followed and equipment is maintained correctly.
- Assist Incident Investigation: Assist investigations into accidents, near-misses and work-related illnesses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Training delivery – new starter inductions
- Maintain records of accidents and ensure all required safety documentation is up to date for regulatory inspections
Previous administration experience within a corporate environment is essential.
