Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Park Keeper operative local to Camden, seeking an hourly rate of £13.15 (37.5 hours per week) and a great working environment? We are looking for dynamic people to maintain, organise, and motivate various sites, ensuring all grounds maintenance services are delivered to a high standard that meets customer expectations.
The park keeper will work independently, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving business development in their area. Shift work includes one week of early starts and one week of afternoon shifts, including weekends, with 1 day off per week.
Our client is one of the fastest-growing businesses in the industry and a leading provider of integrated management and maintenance services for parks and green spaces. They are now recruiting a grounds maintenance operative as part of their growth plans.
The successful candidate will organize resources and work independently to deliver effective grounds maintenance, including:
- Weeding
- Pruning
- Strimming
- Leaf blowing
- Litter picking
- Cleaning
The ideal grounds maintenance operative will have:
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance (preferred)
- The ability to self-motivate and work well within a team
- Competence in using appropriate power tools
- Previous experience with horticultural equipment, including power and hand tools, push mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc. (preferred)
- Excellent awareness of Health & Safety procedures
- Proven ability to meet or exceed business objectives
- Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications
