We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estate Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy and well-established team maintaining residential estates across East London.
Location: East London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: £16.48 per hour
Duties:
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weed control and planting
- Leaf clearance and litter picking
- General estate grounds maintenance
- Use of strimmers, mowers, hedge cutters, and other gardening equipment
- Maintaining outdoor communal areas to a high standard
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ grounds maintenance or gardening experience essential
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Experience using gardening machinery and power tools
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
