Do you enjoy being on the road, working outdoors, and taking pride in practical hands‑on work? We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Japanese Knotweed Technician to join an expanding team across London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys independence, variety in their day, and wants to build a long‑term career in specialist environmental treatment services. No previous experience in Japanese knotweed treatment is required – full training and support will be provided.

You’ll travel to a variety of residential and commercial sites carrying out treatment programmes, helping clients protect their properties while ensuring industry‑leading safety and environmental standards are maintained.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out Japanese knotweed treatments using approved treatment methods and chemicals
  • Following management plans and industry regulations to prevent the spread of invasive species
  • Maintaining accurate treatment records and client documentation
  • Ensuring excellent biosecurity procedures on every site
  • Providing professional and friendly customer service at all times
  • Maintaining your allocated company van and equipment
  • Working safely and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
  • Using company‑issued technology, including an iPad, to complete reports and records

Essential Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • PA1 & PA6 qualifications – Safe Use of Pesticides & Handheld Applicator (or willingness to complete training provided)
