We have an exciting opportunity for an Irrigation Maintenance Manager to join our growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with clients, and hands-on with system monitoring, servicing and maintenance visits.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication
- Communicating with clients clearly and professionally
- Keeping customers informed when system issues or alerts arise
- Providing updates and advice during maintenance visits
- Managing Your Schedule
- Managing your own daily schedule and workload
- Organising and planning site visits for maximum efficiency
- Scheduling and completing ad-hoc callouts when required
- Daily Monitoring & Smart System Management
- Daily monitoring of irrigation systems using Hydrawise and Linktap platforms
- Checking for alerts, faults, or unusual behaviour
- Contacting clients proactively if anything is showing that requires attention
- Seasonal Start-Ups & Shut-Downs
- Completing all irrigation system start-ups (spring commissioning)
- Completing all irrigation system shut-downs / winterisation
- Ensuring systems are running correctly and efficiently for the season
- Maintenance Visits
- Carrying out monthly maintenance checks for customers on a maintenance package
- Testing zones, checking coverage, ensuring correct scheduling and runtime
- Inspecting valves, heads, drip lines, sensors, pressure and general system condition
- Updating customer notes/logs after each visit
- Installation
- This role includes joining the installation team during the quieter winter months
- Experience in irrigation system servicing and fault finding
- Prior knowledge of the smart irrigation apps (especially Hydrawise and Linktap) desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised and capable of managing your own workload
- A practical, hands-on approach and happy working outdoors
- Full UK driving licence required
