We are seeking an experienced Hard Landscaper with civil skills to join our team, working on a variety of projects including council verges, ditches, kerbs, fencing, and occasional soft grounds maintenance.
A digger ticket (or strong proven experience) is required, and a trailer licence would be a bonus.
Overview
You will be responsible for the maintenance of local authority ditches and footpaths, working with mini excavators, dumpers, and other plant machinery. Tasks will include ditch reforming, path scraping, fencing repairs, and other roadside landscaping activities.
This role is ideal for someone with a broad skill set who enjoys outdoor work and can adapt to a range of tasks. Candidates must be based within 10β15 miles of Lingfield, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance on county council ditches, verges, and footpaths (soft and hard landscaping).

Operate mini excavators, dumpers, and related plant machinery.

Assist with ordering materials and planning works.

Support the office team with site surveys.
Skills & Experience

Confident using mini-diggers, dumpers, power tools, and hand tools (e.g., ditching, grading, levelling, installing bollards/handrails).

Excavator ticket preferred (training may be provided if required).

Experience with tractors and attachments is advantageous.
