We are looking for an experienced and motivated Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join a growing team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across residential developments in Hempstead.
This is a hands‑on role where you will lead and support a small team, ensuring landscaped areas are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent customer service and maintaining safe working practices.,
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a small grounds maintenance team.
• Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance duties, including
- Grass cutting and mowing
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding and planting
- Litter picking
- Leaf clearance
- General upkeep of landscaped areas
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Communicate professionally with residents, clients, and the office team.
- Carry out basic checks and maintenance of tools, machinery, and vehicles.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Minimum of 1 year's experience leading a grounds maintenance or landscaping team.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a small team.
- Good knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and safe working practices.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards. Salary: £31,000 per annum
