We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable, and respectful Cemetery Grounds Operative to join a dedicated team maintaining a well-established cemetery site in North West London. This is a varied outdoor role suited to someone with experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor operational work who takes pride in maintaining high standards and working with professionalism and sensitivity.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with grave excavation and preparation
- Back-filling graves using manual and mechanical equipment
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, pruning, and weed control
- Grounds maintenance and landscaping duties
- Memorial preparation and cleaning (full training provided)
- Operating tools, machinery, vehicles, and light plant equipment
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised working areas
- Providing respectful assistance and guidance to visitors and bereaved families
Qualifications:
