A growing landscaping company based in Devon is looking for a dedicated and experienced Qualified Gardener / Horticulturist to join their professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-end residential and commercial gardens, applying your horticultural skills across a wide range of tasks, from garden design and planting to maintenance and specialist landscaping work. You will be part of a skilled and supportive team, working directly with clients to maintain, enhance, and transform beautiful gardens across the Devon region. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in delivering exceptional horticultural services.
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Devon (EX15)
Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm, 5 days a week (9 hours/day)
Holidays: 30 days per year
Other Benefits: Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Pension
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-end gardening and general maintenance across client sites
- Implement garden designs and carry out soft landscaping projects
- Perform shrub and tree care, including standard arboriculture tasks
- Operate ride-on mowers, trailers, and other horticultural machinery safely
- Install, maintain, and manage irrigation systems
- Read and work from garden drawings and plans (preferred)
- Work directly with clients, providing excellent service and communication
