Are you an experienced Class 1 (CE) driver looking for steady work with a well-established company? Weβre currently recruiting drivers on behalf of our client based in Grays, Essex, with immediate starts available!
The Role
- Container collections from Tilbury and Purfleet, delivering to site.
- Short local runs β approximately 5 drops per shift.
- No handball involved β just coupling/uncoupling and completing standard safety checks.
- Full training provided on-site β previous container experience is helpful but not essential.
Requirements
- A valid Category CE licence with 2+ years of experience
- Full CPC and Digi Tacho Card
- Aged 25+ (insurance requirements)
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence (minor endorsements only)
- Physically fit and able to carry out safety checks (no heavy lifting required)
Shift Patterns
- Days: Start time 06:00
- Nights: Start time 18:00
- Shifts approx. 10 hours
- Work available Monday to Sunday
- Ad hoc bookings β perfect for flexible drivers!
Please note: An on-site induction is required before starting. Induction will be paid upon completion of five full shifts with the client.
Pay Rates (PAYE, paid weekly β every Friday):
- Monday to Friday (Days): Β£17.00 β Β£18.50/hr
- Monday to Friday (Nights): Β£18.00 β Β£19.50/hr
- Weekend Days: Β£18.00 β Β£19.50/hr
- Weekend Nights: Β£19.00 β Β£20.50/hr
