The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Gardener to join a professional horticultural team, maintaining beautiful high-end private and commercial gardens across a variety of locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled gardener who takes pride in delivering high-quality horticultural work and enjoys working across different sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out all aspects of general and specialist horticultural maintenance
- Lawn care and maintenance
- Seasonal ground clearance and garden preparation
- Maintaining beds, borders and containers
- Specialist pruning and trimming
- Sweeping and maintaining hard surfaces and garden furniture
- Cleaning and maintaining water features
- Day-to-day maintenance of irrigation systems
- Chemical applications and accurate record keeping, where appropriately trained
- Safe operation of horticultural machinery
- Maintaining gardens to a consistently high standard
- Working independently while also supporting the wider team
About You
- Previous professional gardening or horticultural experience
- Experience working on private domestic and/or commercial sites
- A recognised horticultural qualification is desirable
- PA1 & PA6 qualifications are preferable but not essential
- A full, clean UK driving licence - essential for mobile rounds
- A strong eye for detail and pride in your work
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- A willingness to develop your skills and undertake further training
- Professionalism, integrity and discretion
